MUSKEGON, Mich. –Marsh Field, in cooperation with the Muskegon Clippers, is hosting the 2022 Greater Muskegon High School All Star Classic on Monday, June 13, 2022 at 7:05pm.
The All Star Classic features the best high school senior baseball players along the Lakeshore from Ludington to Grand Haven.
The players will be split into two teams. The Teams feature senior players from the Reeths Puffer, Mona Shores, Muskegon Catholic Central, Fruitport, Hesperia, Montague, Spring Lake, Ludington, Western Michigan Christian Ravenna, Fremont, Holton and Grand Haven.
The coaches for the All Star teams will be Paul Herremans, Head Coach at Ravenna High School and Butch Attig, Head Coach at Reeths Puffer High school.
Game tickets are $5 for adults; $3 for Senior Citizens, $2 for students; children 12 and under are free. Game tickets can be purchased right at the gate of Marsh Field on Laketon Avenue in Muskegon.
All proceeds from the game will benefit the Marsh Field Improvement Fund
Since 1916 baseball fans have visited Marsh Field to watch baseball. From its heyday when the Muskegon Lassies of the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League played here to the days of the Muskegon Reds playing the Detroit Tigers, Marsh Field has been “the Home of Muskegon Baseball”. Now days, Marsh Field is host to over 100 baseball games a year and is the home of the summer collegiate baseball league team, the Muskegon Clippers.
