After the Tree Lighting, head over to Hackley Library to meet Santa Claus (Santa will be at Hackley Library following the tree lighting, and will remain at the library until around 7:30pm).
All ages welcome!  Free.

Youth / Teen Programs:

Paws and Read with Breezy and Dolly
In-person at Hackley Library
Monday, November 28 from 4:00-5:00pm
There are two new four-legged reading helpers in Hackley Library’s Youth Services!  Practice and strengthen literacy skills by reading out loud to our friendly therapy dogs who are calm, non-judgmental listeners.  They’re excited to hear all the stories, and receive all the belly rubs!  Call 231-722-8014 to register for a 20 minute time slot.  Free.

LEGO Building Day!
In-person at Hackley Library
Saturday, November 19 from 12:00-2:00pm
Drop by and decorate the tops of our Hackley Library bookshelves by building some awesome LEGO creations!  We’ll provide the bricks – all you need to bring is your imagination.  All ages welcome!  Free.

All Ages Take and Make – Gratitude Garland
Available through the month of November at Hackley Library
Gratitude: the quality of being thankful.  Each day of November we will think of something we are thankful for and write it on a piece of paper (provided in your take and make kit).  Each piece of paper will be added to a piece of yarn to hang somewhere at home.  At the end of the month, you’ll have a colorful decoration and can share all you’re thankful for with our friends and family.  Take and Make kits are available through the month of November while supplies last.  All ages.  Free.
