WHERE: Fillmore St., 96th Ave. to 72nd Ave., Allendale Twp.
WHY: Road Resurfacing
BACKGROUND: Beginning the week of July 22, 2024, contractors for the Ottawa County Road Commission will begin a resurfacing project on Fillmore St. from 96th Ave. to 72nd Ave. in Allendale Twp.
This project will consist of milling existing asphalt, adding 3-foot paved shoulders, resurfacing with new asphalt, and gravel shoulder restoration.
This project is expected to last through mid-August 2024, however all work is weather dependent and completion dates are subject to change.
TRAFFIC IMPACT: The road will remain open to through traffic; however traffic will be maintained using temporary lane closures under flag control during work hours. Be prepared for possible delays when traveling through this area during project hours.
