Muskegon, MI – During the month of July, Watch Muskegon is hosting a photo contest on social media. The public is encouraged to visit Muskegon County, take a picture that captures their experience and share it to Facebook or Instagram using the hashtag #ThisIsMuskegon. A panel of judges will select a winning photo in August with a grand prize of $1,000 cash and other Muskegon-focused items including stays at various hotels, passes to museums and festivals, and gift cards for local restaurants. The contest is part of the Watch Muskegon campaign, which was created to promote the Muskegon area with a focus on economic development, beautification and education.
