New Summer Concert Series Set to Rock Muskegon in 2022

The VanDyke Mortgage Summer Concert Series Will Be Free on 10 Consecutive Weekends

MUSKEGON, Michigan – The Lakeshore Legacy Project is in its first year and has been promoting Muskegon and the lakeshore as the place to be this summer.

This event is a 10-week, 11 concert series scheduled every Saturday from June through August. The concerts will feature a different musical genre each week. In addition to live music, the events will provide family friendly activities including yard games, face painters, magicians, clowns, and food trucks. All events will be held in downtown Muskegon at Hot Rod Harley-Davidson. All concerts will be free to attend and will take place every Saturday starting June 4th – August 6th, 2022.

The mission of Lakeshore Legacy Project aims to mitigate the income inequality divide in Western Michigan through immersive and community building events. We strive to offer people of all ages the chance to experience life enriching events for free.

The VanDyke Mortgage Summer Concert Series activities will be begin at noon each Saturday and run until 10:15pm at Hot Rod Harley Davidson property in downtown Muskegon. Activities include:

ACTIVITIES
During the event enjoy, a variety of food options, giant beer pong, large jenga, and corn hole all while enjoying adult beverages, craft brews of all kinds and craft cocktails.

The Muskegon area also provides a variety of other must see sites that appeal to everyone, including expansive beaches, WWII ships, military museums, historic homes, beautiful parks and museums of all kinds – right in the center of all the action.

LODGING
A variety of lodging options are available in the area including, hotels, motels, bed & breakfasts, Airbnb, camping, beach cottages and boutique hotels.

FOOD AND BEVERAGES
A variety of food options will be available from several food trucks. Enjoy ice cold Budweiser products, local craft brews and craft cocktails.
